A series of wind power projects in Quang Tri are urgently “finishing” before November 1, 2021 to enjoy the support mechanism according to the Government’s regulations.\u00a0Quang Tri Electricity Company always creates the best conditions and supports project investors in coordinating the construction of infrastructure to accelerate the progress of projects.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Quang Tri is evaluated as a locality with great potential for developing energy projects, especially the potential for wind and solar power development.\u00a0In recent years, Quang Tri province has focused on planning and calling for investment in energy projects, especially renewable energy to exploit this potential and advantage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Out of 31 wind power projects that have been approved for planning, 2 projects (total capacity of 60MW) have come into operation;\u00a025 projects (total capacity) of 987.2MW have been granted investment policy by Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee and are being implemented.\u00a0According to investors’ reports, all 25 of these projects strive to be completed before October 31, 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Development situation of wind power projects in Quang Tri:<\/span><\/strong>\u2013\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>84 proposed wind power projects\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0with total capacity of about 4,030.85 MW.\u00a0In there:<\/span><\/p>\n

+ 31 projects approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade with a total capacity of 1,177.2 MW;<\/span><\/p>\n

+ 53 projects with a total capacity of 2,853.65MW have been submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for consideration and planning supplementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>8 projects<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0\u00a0are in the stage of research, survey, preparation of additional planning documents with a total capacity of 1,620 MW.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Wind power projects are mainly concentrated in Huong Hoa district.\u00a0In the past time, Quang Tri Power Company has directed its affiliated power grid operation management units to coordinate survey, agreement on connection and acceptance of power supply works for construction of wind power projects to create the best conditions for investors to accelerate construction progress.<\/span><\/p>\n

Along with that, the company also coordinated to survey and set up a technical plan for lifting power lines over the road on roads serving the transportation of wind power equipment.\u00a0These are super-long and super-heavy equipment transported on routes from Hon La port (Quang Binh) and Cua Viet port (Quang Tri) to locations of wind power projects in Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri). and Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts (Quang Binh).\u00a0Specifically, the company has upgraded the conductors at more than 40 crossing locations, ensuring the minimum elevation of the 0.4kV low-voltage line across the runway, and the minimum elevation of the 22kV medium-voltage line across the roadway. 8.3m, the minimum height of 35kV medium voltage line across the roadway is 9.3m and the minimum height of 110kV high voltage line across the roadway is 10.3m.<\/span><\/p>\n

In order to promptly complete the transmission system to release the capacity of wind power plants, PC Quang Tri has closely coordinated with the Central Power Projects Management Board (CPMB) under the National Power Transmission Corporation (National Power Transmission Corporation). EVNNPT) and related units to plan and cut off power for the construction of the Dong Ha – Lao Bao 220kV transmission line on schedule.\u00a0Quang Tri PC also participated in the acceptance test of 110kV feeders connecting 110kV busbars to 220kV Lao Bao substation.\u00a0The timely energizing of 220kV Lao Bao substation of EVNNPT\/CPMB will serve as a premise for the commercial operation (COD) of ongoing wind power projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the management and operation unit of the power grid in Quang Tri province, Quang Tri Power Company has always actively acted as a focal point for information between EVN and the Provincial People’s Committee in coordinating to resolve procedures to speed up the projects. related transmission projects in the area.\u00a0The activities of Quang Tri Power Company are not aside from the purpose of accompanying investors to accelerate the completion of the project as planned, thereby contributing to the accomplishment of the goal of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.
