SCADA SYSTEM AND STATION AUTOMATIC

With the development of science and technology, investment in SCADA system as well as computer-integrated control system in monitoring and operating the power grid is being done at most of the stations.

With many years of experience in the field, FRA is currently an integrator of the EcoXpert Substation Automation & EcoXpert Critical Power certification system of Schneider Vietnam. In addition, FRA is also honored to be a Global system integrator with the Master certificate of Schneider Corporation, which is the highest certification of Schneider Corporation globally.

The Scada and FRA substation automation under development is the Schneider/France PACiS System.

Scada system and PACiS substation automation is an integrated system of all automation, control and monitoring functions, with flexible architecture used in power, transmission and distribution substations with the following main functions:

  • The system is designed according to the latest trend in the field of station automation, can be compatible with all current international standard communication protocols such as: IEC61850, IEC60870-5-101/102/103/104 , DNP, LAN/WAN, Modbus, …and constantly updated with new international standards.
  • Researched and developed by Schneider’s excellent team of global experts to ensure stable and reliable operation.
  • Collect, process, automate, control, monitor and store information about the operating status of equipment in the station
  • Has a friendly intuitive graphical interface, convenient for operation management.
  • It is possible to connect with A X , B X (national, regional, regional) dispatching centers to serve the dispatching of the power system.
  • Automating many operational tasks: Collecting incident information, exporting automatic reports, alerting the working status of equipment, controlling, protecting the system, etc.
  • Synchronize, store events and incidents in real time, making event and incident analysis clear and easy to understand.
  • Remote access to all control and protection devices in the system
  • Self-monitoring when there is abnormal working condition of control computer system and control equipment, protection relay.

TYPICAL FEATURES

Typical Features of the PACiS . System

  • Flexibility for custom solutions
  • PACiS enables rethinking of the design, operation and maintenance of electrical installations. Its 24/7 maintenance program increases system availability and contributes to building higher standards for power automation. PACiS enhances competitiveness and performance, while optimizing existing assets and adapting them to an ever-changing environment.
  • Commonly found in utilities, PACiS can be tailored to a single substation. Thanks to its flexibility, it provides a unified and optimized scheme, along with the power generation sources and offloading capabilities encountered in industrial or infrastructure applications.
  • Optimized and more secure information sharing
  • PACiS functions, architecture, and services provide users with a scalable solution while making full use of existing resources.
  • PACiS provides topology-oriented automation and electrical security, while minimizing outages. By using substation-specific communication protocols, it allows complete integration between devices and thus ensures optimal use of information. It also provides smooth migration to new communication standards.
