EVN HAS 4 PROJECTS HONORED AT THE 16TH VIFOTEC AWARD

Recently, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a ceremony to summarize and award prizes for the Innovation Contest. The 16th National Technical Creation Program (VIFOTEC). In which, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) has 4 awarded works.

The winning projects of EVN include:

“Building training curriculum for newly recruited workers and workers changing jobs in the direction of improving practical knowledge” by engineer Hoang Ngoc Chung (Quang Nam Power Company), won the third prize.

“Calculation of daily power loss by voltage level from telemetry” by engineer Huynh Thao Nguyen (Da Nang Power Company Limited), won consolation prize

“Solution to automatically monitor the indexing process, verify the index before issuing electricity bills of Da Nang Electricity One Member Limited Liability Company” by Master Bui Van Minh (Da Nang Electricity One Member Co., Ltd.) ), won consolation prize.

“Solutions for interfacing electronic documents between CPC-eOffice programs and local government’s document management programs” by authors Ha Thanh Long, Phan Quang Nhat, Nguyen Duy Binh (PC Thua Thien Hue) and Tran Thi Thanh Dung, Nguyen Quoc Bao (EVNCPC Department of Telecommunications and Information Technology), won consolation prizes.

The 16th National Technical Innovation Contest will be kicked off in 2 years 2020 – 2021, a period when the COVID-19 pandemic has had a great impact. However, there were still 550 solutions submitted to the competition. There are 55 provinces, cities, ministries and branches that send applications to participate. The contest solutions are divided into 6 fields: Information technology, electronics, telecommunications; mechanical automation, construction, transportation; materials, chemicals, energy; agriculture, forestry, fishery, natural resources and environment; pharmacy; educations.

The National Technical Innovation Contest has been held since 1989. After more than 30 years, there are about 7,000 competing solutions and nearly 1,000 solutions awarded. The authors were honored as scientists, farmers, and workers with technical innovations across the country. The winning solutions have been widely applied in production and life, solving practical requirements, bringing high socio-economic efficiency.
