SPEEDING UP THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CITY’S FIRST DIGITAL SUBSTATION. HO CHI MINH

The 110kV Tan Phu Trung substation and connection line is the first digital substation project in Ho Chi Minh City, currently being managed by the HCMC Power Grid Project Management Board (under the Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation). Ho Chi Minh City – EVNHCMC) to speed up the construction progress. It is expected that the project will be energized and put into operation in the third quarter of 2022.

The project “Tan Phu Trung 110kV transformer station and connection lines” has a total investment of nearly 221 billion VND, located in Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park, Cu Chi district. The project has a new scale of building 110kV Tan Phu Trung substation, including two 115/23/11kV transformers with a capacity of 63/63/21MVA, connected to the overhead line and 110kV underground cable.

EVN HCMC is urgently speeding up the construction of the 110kV Tan Phu Trung digital substation and the connection line.

The 110kV Tan Phu Trung substation is modernly invested, meeting the criteria of the Vietnam Electricity Group on digital, unmanned, remote-controlled substations.

Digital substation is the latest and most advanced technology available today, helping to optimize equipment operation, increase power supply reliability, and reduce maintenance costs thanks to intelligent systems that analyze data and make repair and maintenance recommendations. In addition, the digital station also helps to reduce the volume of cables, reduce the size of the cable ditch, reduce the size of the equipment, thereby reducing the area of ​​the station, contributing to optimizing construction time and investment costs. , operation, maintenance and maintenance of the station.

Expected to be energized in the third quarter of 2022, the project will ensure the power supply infrastructure for Tan Phu Trung industrial park (Cu Chi district) and contribute to attracting investment and promoting economic development of the city.
